===== From williamb@thirdroad.com: The overall idea and pict are good. The trees really take away from it though. Good fog. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: The use of particles to simulate snow helps add movement to the scene. However the particles appear they could use a little more tweaking. The snow on the ground also looks good. However, places it needs improvement are where it joins the tree for example, there is no interaction whatsoever. Using layers of fog was good to help to simulate density of snow in the background. The tree(s) in general need to be improved. It is most likely you will have to redo from scratch. They appear as some strange tube objects on some strange planet. I see you tried, but tube extrusions are a far cry from anything looking remotely close to an organic nature. I would certainly expect something a lot better than this, considering you used a software modeler that cost literally hundreds of dollars for this entry. Also, try not to make multiple trees duplicates or looking too similar, viewers notice this and it hurts. The model of the woman its nice, but I can not comment too much on it, since you used poser to add in a pre-made model, instead of crafting it yourself. Now I admit poser models are good for stand-ins for a scene, but when it_s basically your only primary focus, that can be another story. The background is a bit dark, is it a night-time scene? If so, you should try to implement a nighttime feel with the light-sources. P.S. I found your copyright notice on this image quite amusing indeed! ===== From rjhansen@myrealbox.com: I think your Poser figure looks much more realistic than they usually do! Nice job with that. ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: A good job capturing that dark winter emotion. ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Rather underdeveloped. ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Like the lady and her position. Could use some snow on her even if only her hair. A few more background trees would help also. ===== From quinet@gamers.org: Nice image, but it looks like there is a problem with self-intersecting meshes around the knees. You should have tried to fix that, or maybe cover the knees with snow in order to hide the problem. Also, one of the branches of the tree goes through the trunk, which is not very realistic. ===== From twisted_hero@yahoo.com: For some reason this bothered me: a twig on your tree is kinda stuck through the trunk.
