===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: While not a fan of caroling myself, I do enjoy this piece of work very much. You are right about the sleigh needed some improvement. I also believe there is nothing connecting it to the horses. The house itself I like, though the trees are a bit too symmetrical, and there should be some variation from tree to tree as well. Adding footprints was a good touch. The lamp post looks good, though the horses appear to be missing a tail? Perhaps it_s just the camera angle. Very nice work over all. ===== From rjhansen@myrealbox.com: Good job of capturing that "Currier & Ives" feel. The trees do work pretty well from a distance. There's something about them that seems a little "off" to me though. They may be too uniform in size? Of course maybe that's better for the overall folk art look. ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: This image reminds me so much of those old Frankin and Bass Christmas specials I watched many years ago. Things not quite a match for reality is part of what made them memorable to me and you have captured something like that with your image. Well done. ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Not sure what I'm meant to make of the figures, but nice modelling on the house. ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: You got the look your where trying for. Very well done. The horses could be tied to the sleigh more. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: Effective people - wish I'd thought of making clothes by changing blob thresholds. ===== From file: very nice, good lighting, nice modelling style.
