===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: everything in the scene seems quite realistic, apart from the pattern of the snow which looks very artificial. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: At first I thought this was a bunch of gifts about to be wrapped (or already unwrapped). Very good modeling work on the camera and CD cases. However the texturing could do with a lot of improvement. Also you may want to improve the lighting in this scene as well, it could really help with the realism. The snow in the dome could do with more tweaking, it looks un-natural, like just some spirals sticking vertically up from the bottom. Also the scales of items seem to be off. The burning candle is nice, but why is it totally dwarfed by the camera and other items which are not so large in real life? ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: An odd looking winter globe! The candle flame is first rate and it reminded me of ice storms where the power is cut and you get to live for a day or two by oil lantern and candle light. ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Stretching it for the topic. Now if it had been 'Cameras'... ===== From lamere@speakeasy.org: NIce candle flame ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Nice camera lens. The candel flame not bad either. The snow? in the glass sphere looks more like laser writing. ===== From file: Snow in the sphere is too uniform, but you already knew that. The non-wintery objects are the best.
