===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: I quite like this one, it made me laugh :) ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: Despite the image consists of mostly simple shapes as you stated, I do quite like this one. It seems to consist of a little glamour and humor. The tiles look nice, I especially like the toilet roll and the texture, even though you just used clipart. One thing that keeps drawing my eye is the lack of detail on the toilet. It looks as though it_s just 2 cubes. Using a high-end application like 3d Max, I would expect a bit more detail and roundedness there, like you would expect from a real toilet. P.S. Why do you keep mentioning that same web site multiple times in each of your entries? When I go there it seems to be nothing but a bunch of business/add/spam links. Technically I believe you are entitled to do so, but generally the web sites asked are to be referred to 3d related work of the user. ===== From rjhansen@myrealbox.com: Very good image. With regard to the bump mapping etc... I think the tile looks very realistic. Ditto for the tp. The whole image displays a little flat on my machine i.e. it needs more contrast. I'm on a Mac which usually display images which originated on a PC somewhat light, but this one is really kind of washed out appearing. A little darkening of the shadows in Photoshop would make it great! ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: Toilet paper does seem to change with the seasons.... Off the subject, I've often thought there is a sizeable and untapped market for toilet paper with unpopular subjects embossed upon each sheet. If we don't mind pleasant images on our paper, why not unpleasant images? The latter seems a much better end for the image given the application at hand.... ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Some nice work, but I can't really take this seriously. ===== From lamere@speakeasy.org: Nice tiles, funny idea, don't like the ad tho. ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: You got something different there! Your tiles looks more like vinyl flooring. With wood trim? But belive it or not I've seen this done in the real world. ===== From twisted_hero@yahoo.com: LoL! Definately best interpretation! ===== From file: Notable for originality, textures ===== From file: Notable for lighting, textures ===== From r@dsl092-065-152.bos1.dsl.speakeasy.net: Notable for lighting ===== From file: how, no.. WHERE did you come up with this idea?
