JPGFILE: winterpa.jpg RENDERER USED: 3D Studio MAX TOOLS USED: Photoshop (Textures @ Copywrite), 3D Studio MAX RENDER TIME: ~10min. HARDWARE USED: Gateway2K, 733MHz Pentium IIIe, 512MB RAM, Radeon All-in-Wonder Pro w/ 32MB RAM IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Yep... it's really 'potty paper'. For some wierd reason I just needed to make a roll. I focused on Bump mapping and lighting with this piece. Any comments specific to that would be appreciated. I really wanted something different... and thought of what everyone else would be doing. I tried a little snow, an outdoor scene... but I 'wiped' away all of that and made 'Winter Paper'. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Basic shapes for the walls, floor, and roll. Edited mesh for the roll extension. Some extrusions for the 'pot' (not so good... that's why there isn't much of it in the scene). Paper Map/Texture was created in Photoshop with some clip art and embossing/texture effects. Tile bump map is the tile map again with an offset to make it look like the tiles are separate (gap). Many re-renders for the atmospheric lighting and reflection. All-in-all pretty simple. It was created from scratch for this contest but I understand if you score it a little off of the subject. Thanks all... good luck. CQN
