===== From trothgard@citywidesoftware.com: I love the texture to the teddybear, wish mine had that. The one thing that disturbed me about this is the sail, the texture, and what is holding it up? I love the obviously fake clouds in the background it almost looks like pieces of felt stitched to the sky ( I know it's ice cream, but it was my first impression) ===== From cly@u.arizona.edu: you water doesn't look like water, shouldn't it reflect a bit eventhough the image looks cartoonish. ===== From robbert@mintec.ca: Ow. My cavity. ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: Thanks for the tip about adding a teddy bear to get better marks. Lonliness and teddy bears.... I am sure I can do something here. :-) Interesting concept for an image and a cartoonish feel. However, as you noted, the sea doesn't look quite right, the chocolate does not look like chocolate but rather metal. The placement of the candy canes is a bit odd. This image would have benefitted from being rendered much larger then scaled to the 'submission size.' There are small lines on the candy canes which do not look good and the built in antialiasing doesn't handle this situation well. I suspect because the AA samples are taken only within 'the pixel.' ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: I like the Sun, clouds and sky. The candy canes, if they are suppose to be grass, sould be at least rotated each diferently.
