===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: Yes, this is a good interpretation of loneliness, and it has multiple levels. Of course, little less polished bottle (or slightly different bottles) might have worked better, but very original. ===== From houston_roadrunner@yahoo.com: All of those bottles looks like a party, way of topic.... ===== From ojamies@cs.helsinki.fi: Nice, more complex lightning might be good touch. ===== From : Nice work on the standing bottle. Though the back wall looks a little plain. Perhaps something else near the empty circle could of spiced up the image from making the viewer stare at just too many bottles. Good Work anyhow. ===== From mmdoogie@ardmore.net: Nice first entry - practice makes perfect! I liked your interpretation of the theme, the focus blur doesn't look too far off, but the corks seem unrealistic. Overall nice image... ===== From awilcox@dreampeach.com: Good concept. I think the wood grain is a bit big, which makes the bottles look too small. Very nice work with the bottle, label, and cork. ===== From monsil@maltanet.net: What concerns the artistic and interpretation of theme you can do better regarding technicality well done. ===== From whitey@telefragged.com: take a trip to the duplication station ===== From beighton155@yahoo.com: This is a superb picture. I think the focal blur is fine as it is, and i didnt even notice the shadow was thin. Only problems i found where that the cork looks less life-like than the rest of the image, and the top of the bottle appears to skew to the right.May just be my eys tho!Good first submission ===== From ruy@hipernet.com.br: Technically evry good, albeit not too related to loneliness. ===== From jpgargoyle@sapo.pt: Nice pic. I just think the glass material could use just a little more work. It would look etter with some caustics too. Best regards. ===== From dapigg2000@yahoo.com: Novel idea with a good approach. Good job. ===== From rclee@oklahoma.net: Nice looking glass! Background is weak. Focal blur hurts my eyes. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Pretty simple (repeating the same model over and over), but I like it. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: Upon viewing the image, I had assume you meant the loneliness of drinking (alone), but from reading the text I think you meant more that one remaining undrunk bottle is lonely. :-) Anyway, a good scene - simply done yet evocative and interesting in a way. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: I agree that the wood texture is looks fairly real. The bottles and the glass are also fairly realistic. While the focal blur does draw your attention away from the plain background, it could still use a bit more detail to create a greater sense of realism. ===== From patrick@sypa.net: Belle image, mais comme tu la dit toi meme, elle est un peu hors-sujet, mais on peu quand meme y voir une peu de solitude, quoi que si une personne seul a bu tout ca, elle serait surement morte ;-) ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Very nice for a first entry... realistic complex glass objects can be tricky. Focal blur works well to cover up the lack of detail in the background. The wood texture looks good, but makes it look like the top of the table is rather bumpy in spots. ===== From jl@artcom-gmbh.de: Bottles and cork look very realistic. Nice dust effect, though it looks a bit strange under the bottle in the bottom left corner. The shadow of the filled bottles looks a bit strange, too, but may be realistic. ===== From clem@dhol.org: I am surprised that this is the only "one bottle left" theme in this round. The wine color needs to be richer. It looks more like merthiolate.
