===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: BLENDER!?!???! No way! Awesome work, very very cool. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: Ok, frightening though it is (I have something against needles) this picture works well. ===== From arte3d@luisvaloyes.uni.cc: the jeans are great! ===== From : This image is quite good compared to most i've seen done in blender. However, this image was completed before the loneliness topic was even anounced. The IRTC gives you 2 months to put together some work for THAT TOPIC. They do not want stuff just thrown in that have been rendered and released BEFORE. ===== From awilcox@dreampeach.com: Depressing, but well done. The focal blur is really adds to this image. ===== From beighton155@yahoo.com: Wow. Full marks. I hope you win. ===== From bfranke2@attbi.com: Great image, too bad it violates the rules. The image must create during the 2 month competition time frame. ===== From novotek@web.de: wow - great distortion in this. blender has done well (and his user) ! good work, guy. looks like an animation-still of capcom (street-fighter or something) ===== From jpgargoyle@sapo.pt: He looked odd but I only knew why when I read that he has no nose. looooool Best regards. ===== From mosconariz@yahoo.com.mx: _EXCELENTE! ===== From dapigg2000@yahoo.com: Not bad. I like the sense of surreal realism personified here. Good work. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Clearly one of the best images this round, really on topic, with a great cartoon design. So sad it was published way before the round. ===== From suso@suso.org: Wow, are you sure you didn't use real bricks in that picture? Very nice. The dollar bill could have looked a little nicer. Maybe if it was rinkled a bit. ===== From rclee@oklahoma.net: Great brick wall. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Nicely modelled. I think the stylization works well, especially when accent= ed with the focal blurr and realistic bricks. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: I like many things about this image. One of my favorites overall. The = brick wall and torn jeans are just stunning. The lack of a nose is = puzzling. So is the focal blur, which seems to somehow follow the = outline of the character. The syringes are overdone -- one is still = stuck in his arm, unattended; and *both* are still partially filled! Nice blend of cartoonishness and realism. High technical merit. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: A great image, but evidence shows this was made well before the IRTC round http://www.elysiun.com/viewtopic.php?t=1068&highlight= ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The environment looks fairly realistic, especially the brick wall. I can see a strong cartoonish influence at work in his shoes. Good use of focal blur. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Hmmm... I can't help thinking this might not score as well as it should because of the subject matter, but I like it. The brick wall looks very nice. Modelling on the figure and clothing looks pretty good. An interesting scene overall. ===== From jl@artcom-gmbh.de: Very good modeling, lighting and depth of view effects. Nice and original scene. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Nice job. Good theme. I don't know that I like the contrast of the serious theme and the cartoony figure.
