===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: It might actually have worked better if you had kept the red cherries, and one other coloured cherry in between. Also, the cherry is a bit big for the plate. I like the way you hint at the trees outside, though. ===== From ojamies@cs.helsinki.fi: Nice setup, but texturing needs more effort. Good texturing and use of color is more important than good modelling, IMHO. ===== From whitey@telefragged.com: poor little cherry ===== From novotek@web.de: well done - but a little more detail would be nice... ===== From ruy@hipernet.com.br: A good concept, but not too much of a challenge, I believe. ===== From dapigg2000@yahoo.com: Very good work, though I think the picture of the render takes away a bit of the loneliness... sorta, "Hey! I have a companion! I can talk to me!" sort of thing going on. Not bad, quite exceptional. ===== From rclee@oklahoma.net: Nice modeling, the textrues are a bit too clean. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Heh heh. Interesting similarities to my own image "An Orange among the = Apples". ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: I like the idea of placing the old render as a picture. It works very well because one can easily imagine that the picture was taken some time in the past at this same spot. I like the idea of a darkened room, but the picture can't be made out too well unless I increase the gamma, which brightens up the room. I would suggest brightening the image used in the image map, or creating an version of it with the blinds opened. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The lighting works well here. I like the bowl. The wood texture could use some work, I think, and more detail on the windowframe would be nice. Interesting interpretation of the topic. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Symbolic in a way but a bit weak. May have helped some if a few of the red cherries you mentioned were visible.
