This is by far the best of your images in this competition.  The others =
are, well, rather unappealing to me.  Instead of splitting your time on =
so many images, I would rather you have concentrated a little more on =
this one.  Some suggestions: add a (locked) door to the cage.  Construct =
the table top from multiple wood pieces.  Try a more sophisticated glow, =
reflecting off of gleaming bars on the cage.
Would the image suggest "lonliness" better without the reaching arm?

The overall bricks and mortar effect looks very nice, 
although I do find the bricks a little too jagged.  The 
crumbs of Menger Sponge on the table are a nice touch.
