I'm glad you learnt while doing this project.  The balloon looks good.  The fence could use a little more work though.  Also if this is a deserted fair shouldn't there be lots of garbage around?

A very nice idea, not bad for a first image at all, alot better than mine (check out afterthe~ in the city round)!! I think it would have captured the theme more if it was done in a more sinister manner, a bit darker.

The idea was good, and your image conveys a sad atmosphere, which is fitting. On the other hand, modelling, texturing and lighting are too basic to my liking.

The balloon looks fairly convincing from this distance 
(the knot looks fairly realistic), although it is a bit too 
spherical.  The large tents look pretty good, but he 
smaller ones could use some work as they look too 
artificial.  I like how you have used the fence and the 
fog to create a trapped, isolated feeling.
