===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Seems a bit off topic, because no-one in the scene is actually lonely, they're too busy drowning! Very nice picture though, the water looks particularly good considering you faked the reflections. ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: You need a storm. Lightning, dark clouds, choppy seas... ===== From rgow@calweb.com: Not a ray tracer? I thought this was a ray tracing contest... ===== From ruy@hipernet.com.br: So, without people, where is the loneliness? ===== From cfusner@enter.net: The boat is an excellent design. I wish I'd had an inspiration like this for designing my own attempt at a partially sunken ship. As for the mystery of where the people went... It is the same place where the crew of the Marie Celeste went to.. but I'm not authorized to say any more. ;-) ===== From rclee@oklahoma.net: Nice modeling. The water seems to have some spurius artififact. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Nice sky. The water has an odd milky look, especially around the small = boat. I think the image cfoppass.jpg in this competition depicts the = lonliness of a shipwreck better than yours. But I like the dynamic = nature of your image. Good ship model. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: An interesting scene, though not especially evocative of loneliness for me. The waves seem to calm to me as well (pool like rather than ocean like). The ship's detail is good, and it did make me wonder what happened and where the people were ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: While the modelling is done nicely, I find that the scene lacks a sense of scale. The ship does not seem far away from the boat, and yet it is not very much bigger. The detail on the ship is excellent. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice ship! I like the sky too. I think the topic of loneliness could be better developed here, though. ===== From jl@artcom-gmbh.de: There are some odd reflections on the water, as if there was no antialiasing in those parts. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Not enigmatic. Not mysterious. Not lonely.
