I trees are nice, but the entire scene could be helped by moving the background
much farther away from them. The mountin appears to rise too suddenly from
otherwise flat ground. A warmer light might also improve this picture,

The sky is wonderful and the mountain in the background looks genuine, but the
trees for some reason look out of scale with the image and don't present the
feeling of either a grove or forest setting.

The image has many artifacts in it.  Most likely due to over-compression.  Also,
your overall work may improve if you were to do more self-modeling instead of
just incorporating other models and doing a quick terragen job.

The idea itself is not bad, maybe with a gap in the trees revealing the view
on a particularly spectacular part of the landscape.

This scene looks somewhat awkward to me as the 
background image and the trees in the foreground 
doen't really mesh.  The background doesn't give a 
sense of nearness, so there seems to be this odd, empty 
gap between the tree near where the viewer is 
"standing" and the mountains in the background.

The forest, although nice, seems to be getting in the way of the actual =
landscape.  Maybe the image could be improved by removing one or two =
trees.
