===== From rgow@lanset.com: Very nice floor! I think a little higher antialiasing might have helped overall. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Brilliant idea and definitely not off topic. The image looks good, though kind of unreal (but I guess you weren't going for a realistic look). ===== From shay@simcoparts.com: An interesting concept and some nice surprise details like the safety signs on the window. Some of the objects in the immediate foreground look oversized due to the unusual camera position. An eye level camera might give this scene a more natural look. ===== From chris@ugan.com: I like the concept ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: This image borders on being "off-topic", but I like the description you added. I'm otherwise impressed by the trace and the details. It might have been fun to make the landscapes actual 3D raytraces (as it is 2052 after all, so they could've invented 3D painting) but without it it is impressive enough. ===== From llama009@hotmail.com: a great was of getting the message accross? are the different paintings you different ideas by any chance ===== From batronyx@alliancecable.net: This came out well. There are some excellent lighting macros in the povray newsgroups that can help with your indoor lighting problems. ===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: looks like a lot of work; i admire your effort. ===== From brendthess@attbi.com: Although a good image technically, this doesn't convey the story very well. I could not see the 'why' of this image without reading the description. Perhaps a couple of other touches would have made the image, e.g. a barren landscape outside the window and a calendar showing the date. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Nice to see such an unconventional interpretation of the topic. Good work on the figures and lighting. The graininess of the walls and ceiling is a bit distracting. ===== From clem@dhol.org: A somewhat different take on the topic. I like the overhead lights. The humans are much too stiff. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The detail of the scene is excellent, especially considering most of it was made with only with POV's text editor. One thing that is somewhat awkward is the phong/specular highlight on the light fixtures. The highlight makes it obvious that the light is coming from a point source in the middle of the fixture, rather than from the entire "tube." Using area lights might fix this. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Interesting clever concept. Lots of fascinating little details through = the scene, like the gask masks. Obviously the people could use a little = more work -- hands, faces, and clothing are really hard to do. ===== From hgregory3a@aol.com: interesting and best humourous interpretation of a theme yet, so above average marks awarded ===== From r@168-215-245-100.gen.twtelecom.net: Notable for composition
