This really needs anti-aliasing, the sea & snow look way too noisey. Also
everything seems very dark, which is quite atmospheric but it makes it look
like the landscape isn't detailed.

The shape of your land mass turned out very nice. The textures confuse the
image, but this may have been the effect for which you were looking. This looks
like a very nice flight sim.

A couple of extra points for takin the time to learn functions. Some people are
actually still afraid of them! I think anti-aliasing might have actually helped
here.

  While I appreciate your approach to working with 3D, I do not think it is the
best method.  After 2 weeks of playing around, an error allowed you to center
the image.  It is a great effect to use, but I think you should have known this
before starting your two week excusion.  Well, at least you know it now, so the
2 weeks was worth something to your artistic knowledge.
  Minimalism is usually used to fight against the chaotic mentality sometimes
involved in making images - a clear mind leads to clear understanding.  I am
not sure that what you described or rendered is minimalist. . . but don't take
that in a negative way, since I don't think minimalism is all it is cracked up
to be.

Not bad, but the entire image looks just a bit tilted and unbalanced.  Increase
the anti-aliasing, since I only see a 'sea of jaggies.'  The clouds and
mountains look impressive, but the view didn't look too spectacular.

The white caps on the water are a nice effect.  The 
ground fog looks somewhat coarse, but this is probably 
something that anti-aliasing would fix, but possibly at the 
cost of destroying the white caps as you suggested.  
The small patch of blue sky seems out of place to me, 
as the rest of the image gives me the sense of a 
completely overcast day.
