IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

        Arthur and Fenchurch carry Marvin to the Quentulus Quazgar Mountains to
see God's final message to his creation.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


        The height field was generated in Terragen and then passed through
several errosion filters in WorldMachine to give that water eroded (fluvial?)
look.
        The sky is just a semi-transparent plane, which lights up when lit from
above and is used with radiosity.
        After much web searching and downloading for a decent robot to use in
Poser as Marvin, I settled on the Poser 3 stick figure...Arthur and Fenchurch
are also standard P3 people. 
        This scene is by no means finished due to a sudden and sustained
outbreak of real life. Many things remain to be done, (dust, footprints, 30ft
letters of fire) but the deadline is only a few hours away and the scene
doesn't look so bad (I hope anyway).
        The source contains a low-res image of the HF and the mesh for Marvin.
