===== From rgow@lanset.com: Wow, great modeling! The texture on the hand is kind of flat, but everything else looks good. I think the waterfall could maybe be brought out a little more, too. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: Except for the vegetation, which looks a bit strange, I like this entry a lot. The lighter is indeed a good detail, making the image more complete, and also the water in the glass works well. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: Great work on the eraser, table, & glass! BTW, I never seen a water bottle quite like that. Most the ones around here have screw on caps. ===== From patrick@sypa.net: The foreground are too clean ===== From N6re@mminternet.com: Foreground is excellent, problems in the background. Nice detail in bottle-hand ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: Makes me thirsty! Can I have a sip? ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: The waterfall is completely unrealistic. Wild water gets white very quickly when streaming fast. Also, a waterfall almost never shoots out horizontally over the cliff. For that it would need to flow _very_ fast (and would then be white) Water at different scales behaves quite differently, so the symmetry you were striving for would not be there at all in reality. Quite nice idea otherwise. The hand could have used some texture, but the shape and the grip on the bottle look very good. ===== From david.madore@ens.fr: Very nice image. I'm disturbed, however, by the fact that there doesn't seem to be any water in the bottle from which it is poured. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Nice. I like the play of the waterfall against the bottle and the defocused greenery. The mist and the falling water came out very well. The barrier cables add good detail. I like the way the greenery opens to show part of the river. This avoids an impression of the falls springing out of nowhere. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Excellent work on the water effects. The vegetation has a sort of "painted" look, which clashes somewhat with the photorealism in the other parts of the scene. One other somewhat awkward thing in the scene is that the top of the waterfall, which seems to be curving downwards (more like the water is being shot up by a fountain than coming from the stream). This little imperfection could have been covered up by moving the trees slightly. ===== From batronyx@alliancecable.net: The foliage by itself is very interesting. It looks like it was painted in an impressionistic style, and doesn't really fit with the realism through the rest of the scene. I like it anyway. ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Very nice water in the creek and I like the unique semi-abstract nature of the image. Not sure what the object on the table is, but I see it has a website printed on it. I like the terrain/vegetation on the far bank, but the deck floor is a little wavy. Great plastic table! ===== From noe.falzon@tiscali.fr: Very beautiful ! ===== From r@jerkweed.kiva.net: Yea! There is a hand holding that bottle. Thank you. Notable for composition
