The perspectives are all mixed up making the image look like a 2D collage and
I'm sure that wasn't your intention. The lighting is likewise confused. A
little more care and possibly a few more test renderings and you would have a
creditable image.

Some nice textures in here.  The brick one looks like it has some artifacts in
it though.  BTW, try to make plants more curved looking instead of polygonal.
Also you may want to tweak the ends on the butterfly, it is looking more like a
card-board cut-out.

Interesting look - no feelin of perspective at all. In fact, it almost looks as
though the background items are images rather than that the scene was rendered
as a whole. Strange lack of shadows on everything but the tree, too...

Still, benefit of the doubt :-)
Where does the rat come into the idea, by the way? Seems like an afterthought
rather than a natural part of the scene.

Also the tiling pattern of the floor is a very coarse and badly compressed JPEG

Pretty picture.  The butterfly isn't really kinetic enough to 
carry the theme well.  The picture really seems to be about

The tree looks very good, but there is some 
"blockiness" to it in that the branches don't seem to

Very sharp details, though the stone walk texture looks a little 
blurred, in sharp contrast to the rest of the image. The butterfly
has some edges that are a lighter color than I_d expect. Some shadows
are missing, leaving several objects floating over the ground. Very 
nice texture and finish on the blue vase. The bends in the tree are a 
little sharp but the texture is excellent. I like what I can see of 
the painting and would like to see the original.
