===== From rgow@lanset.com: Interesting concept. A larger render would show it better. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: Your design is impressive, though the 360 degree view is a little overwhelming with so much going on. I would love to see a few of the detailed individual shots. ===== From xilo_m@hotpop.com: It is a very nice render of a blue-print... but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to go farther than that.... try to add some adventure, people doing things... something happening... ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: The concept is good and it is creative entry. However, it just looks kind off. I find it hard to articulate the problem. I guess it looks kind too 2D rather than 3D. Perhaps more attention to lighting would have made it stand out a bit more. The other thing to consider is your choice of color palettes (perhaps a personal reaction) a more unified color scheme might have helped. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Good idea, good model, but why did you render it so small? It is difficult to make out, there are so many details, but impossible to see anything properly. Even though you didn_t have time to finish everything. Empty rooms in bigger resolution are better than not be able to see anything at all. This small resolution makes the scene looking rather chaotic a first glance, but makes me curious too see what it really is about. Render BIG next time! Your work is worth it! Another thing, you can post more than one entries to this competition each time, just so you know. ===== From zesly@wanadoo.fr: You would had to render it bigger. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: The small size cylindrical camera view is probably not such a good idea. It is quite hard to see any details and you also have difficulties to understand the geometry of the whole scene. Modelling looks good from what I can see. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: I feel the 360-degree camera detracts from the house as it warps the perspective, and doesn't allow the viewer to clearly seen any aspects of the image. Note that this image may technically not be a valid entry, as the rules stipulate that all images be original (5.d., http://www.irtc.org/stills/rules.html), and from your description, it seems this scene goes beyond reuse of objects/ideas from before the competition period. ===== From intertek@one.net: Did you know that in POV-ray you can have a camera angle greater than = 360=B0!=20 ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Nice layout but difficult to see small image. ===== From r@ip68-11-81-210.no.no.cox.net: Unique (as far as I've seen) point of view, the house seems very well modelled. Notable for lighting, modelling, composition, originality
