===== From rgow@lanset.com: Nice texturing! Good modeling & lighting. Stones in courtyard are maybe too bright. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: Nice, and sharp, though maybe a bit too clean... ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Nice materials and rounded edges. It would look more realistic if it was weathered, with some dirt on things and cracks in the stone, but it still looks quite believable as it is. Maybe like a Disneyland version of it, where although it's real it's just a little too perfect :) ===== From xilo_m@hotpop.com: Nice image, but unfortunately it seems much like the render of a blue-print and there is no action, nothing is happening in your scene, it is empty of life and therefore feels extremely artificial. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice attention to detail on this image. I like the grundge you have added to enhance realism. That worked quite well. There was a bit of inconsistency with this though. One would expect, the circular objects to have had similar grundge markings coming off them - small picky item. Something about the ground texture that didn't seem right - the white grout lines - perhaps those should have been dirtied up a bit to match the feel of the rest of the scene. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Great modelling, this lighting works perfectly with the radiosity. I see you have worked a lot on the textures. The walls might benefit from some amount of normal pattern with "normal on" in the radiosity settings. Then the normals of the ground material inside the shadow area would also become visible. I know it takes longer to render but it_s worth it. I like the atmosphere in this scene. Good work! ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Good concept and lighting. The curving of the metal parts on the right could be smoother, the ground structure looks somewhat painted ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Good job creating the stains on the wall texture - it looks quite realistic. The other textures could use some more work, as they have more of a raytraced rather than realistic feel. ===== From r@215-241.opf.slu.cz: Too crude details. Concept and camera position - very good!
