===== From rgow@lanset.com: Good modeling on the manor. The ground seems almost not there, that may be because of the fog. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: More detail would've been good (fence, balcony). The light works well. ===== From xilo_m@hotpop.com: You're on the right track to make beautiful images, but unfortunately you don't seem to have an artistic sense... An artistic image would have movement, would tell a story, have a past and a future... and all this in a still image... When looking at your picture, I see a very nice render of a blue-print! Try working on the concept of you future IRTC submissions! ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: The concept works well. I think you just need more detail and depth in the image to take from a ho hum image to a great one. For instance, the fog need more let off up close and the house needed more structural details (modeling not texturing) to bring it out. I went back and looked again - Actually I note that you do have quite a bit of structure but somehow the lighting or something tends to flatten the image. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Nicely detailed model. You did manage well to make the feel of cold and dark, but I feel the fog is a little too thick to be realistic, you can hardly make out the main entrance, which you should be able to from this relatively short distance. I also find the textures a little too simplistic, like using checker for the window panes, I don_t know. Good modelling and nice trees. The composition is fairly good. ===== From jjaguar@worldnet.att.net: Good modeling. The one thing I would have changed is the color of the lighting. A blue hue to the light would have given more of a sense of moonlight. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Interesting atmosphere although the fog is too strong IMO. The ground in the foreground looks somewhat bare. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The foggy cold feel is created nicely in the scene. This feel could probably be enhanced by adding the moon shining through cloud cover in the sky.
