===== From rgow@lanset.com: Pass! Good job on the legos. Wood textures need some work. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: There are existing LEGO packages available that have all the things you need in them, including the figures. I like the idea of the real picture, the plan and the LEGO start, though. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: Clever use of the topic. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Nice idea, I like the extremely unfinished nature of the building and the use of a photo of a building. But is it just my imagination or is that lego glowing? It seems to have no shading on it. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: The concept is a good one. The picture frame and the paper bluepring works well. The lego structure needed to be more of the center of attention. You have a lot of empty space on the desk that could have been taken up by a more complex and larger lego structure. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: The main drawback in this scene is the lighting. The light does not seem to be coming from the lamp at all. If you drop or dampen the main light source, everything will change dramatically. The modelling of the objects looks convincing, the legos are a little bit overexposed but dampening the other light source would help to correct that. This is probably the best "childrens building blocks architecture" scene in this round. ===== From dick@buckosoft.com: Hi Dr. Mayfield! ===== From jjaguar@worldnet.att.net: This is a good idea, you should develop it further. One thing is that the lego pieces are too "bright" and don't seem to have much in the way of shadows. I would turn down the "ambient" values for their textures so they don't look so flat and uniformly illuminated.
