===== From rgow@lanset.com: A good interpretation, thank you for deciding to enter. Excellent modelling. The cards look great. Lighting could improve, and the light from the fire shines on the wall but not the man. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: Unfortunately a bit on the dark side... I like the use of the human and the way you managed the bricks to work, it is a very good trick. Also, the way you interpreted architecture is fun. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: Your really captured the gritty feel that seems tough to nail down in raytracing. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: The concept is great. The look of all the elments were consistent. You do a pretty good job with the lighting. Lots of detail and secondary elments. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: This scene is really moving. The thought of the outsider and his unfulfilled dreams..... Overall this scene is carefully worked on, every detail is considered. And it includes both architecture in it_s mundane, every day form, and at the same time the house of cards, symbolizing the fallibility of all dreams. Great work! ===== From dajs100@york.ac.uk: I love this image! Great idea and nicely executed. Perhaps the road is a bit too 'flat' (ie. not enough noise/normal), also a bit more rubbish lying around the bins would be nice. One of my top picks. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Neat idea but the scene has a scaling problem - those cards are too large in comparison to the rest. Good choice of colors but the ground looks quite a bit too clean. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Good job placing/texturing the cards. The brick looks excellent - the depth and dirty texture really add to the realism. ===== From intertek@one.net: There's something very eerie about your image. It looks a bit like a = stage. I can't put my finger on it exactly. One part of it is the = ground. It's clean enough to eat off of. I'd expect more dirt and = marks/stains. But then again I'm not sure that being stage like is a bad = thing. It makes it seem other worldly. Haunting. As long as the guy in = the trench coat doesn't start singing Tomorrow... ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Wonderful concept, though the lighting is a little flat.
