===== From rgow@lanset.com: The temple looks good. The clouds could use some shape to them to soften the horizon. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: The cloud doesn't really look like a cloud, and could've used more ripples or transparancy or both... The light looks quite nice. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: The temple is looking good, but prehaps the clouds could get a little more fluffy. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: It seems strange that there's such nice modelling on this but the texturing, lighting, and camera position really don't show it off well. The camera's too far away to really see how nice those pillars are. The textures all look far too blue, but if that's the lighting then the fog should match the colour (clouds only appear white if there's white light falling on them). And everything's textured in the same colour. It's really a shame that these things are this way, because it would only take a few minutes to get good lighting and camera position to show off your model which must have taken many hours to model. ===== From xilo_m@hotpop.com: You're on the right track to make beautiful images, but unfortunately you don't seem to have an artistic sense... An artistic image would have movement, would tell a story, have a past and a future... and all this in a still image... When looking at your picture, I see a very nice render of a blue-print! Try working on the concept of you future IRTC submissions! ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: The concept was good. The structure model was good. The atmospheric affect needed some work and multiple reaslistic textures would have helped. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Nice modelling of the temple. I don_t think you quite managed to get the effect you were after. The temple on the cloud. This looks more like just a temple on a white plane. Some noise on the fog might help. ===== From R.Bartsch@chello.nl: Nice model, but a few extra houres on texturing and light would have = made it a lot better ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: The motive is surely appropriate for the topic but the design and composition are somewhat sparse. Lighting and texturing need work. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The light effect for the flame is good, but the fade seems too strong. The "temple in the clouds" effect needs to be further developed as the cloud pane seems too smooth (rather than fluffy and cloudlike). A starfield would probably also enhance this effect.
