JPGFILE: pbfaith.jpg ZIPFILE: pbfaith.zip RENDERER USED: POV-Ray 3.5 TOOLS USED: Corel Photo-Paint 9, hamaPatch 2.9, Moray v3.3 RENDER TIME: 11m 48s HARDWARE USED: Pentium III 600 Mhz, 192 MB of RAM IMAGE DESCRIPTION: First I thought about a really mysterious thing, the religion. I though about making the interior of a gothic cathedral, but it was simply too difficult for me, and because I had only twenty days to come up with something I had to think about something simpler. Night! It is mysterious too, but making a cemetery or something like that wouldn't have been very original. I thought about taking a common thing and making it mysterious. Maybe... a desk with something strange on it! Some religious objects on a desk by night... right! After that i thought about putting a mistery to solve in the picture... the writings on the lower-left sheets really mean something! Look closely at the details, you may discover something strange in the other objects too... DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I made all the image maps with Corel Photo-Paint. For some of the textures I used Moray, but I modified them all with POV-Ray. The only things that i didn't make are the POV-Ray logo model in the trophy and some of the metal textures (i used metals.inc). I made all the models with hamaPatch except the trophy, the table, the walls and the magnifying lens. The magnifying lens, the alarm clock and the scissors are three of my old models, but I made the others for this image. If you want to use my models you must ask me first (just for curiosity). This is my first "serious" scene... I hope you like it.
