The scene is located within a gorge (a natural decay by itself) and there is a rock wedged between the gorge walls, which hinder the rock from further decay in height. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Work began with the gorge, which consists of two similar spline based isosurfaces. A simple CSG surrounding was built to get a natural lighting. The rock is an isosurface based on a distorted sphere. The textures are based on blended imagemaps. The gamma value of the stone images were preadjusted to balance the assumed_gamma value of 1.0. The poser eagle has a texture map from Lyne Creation's (http://www.planit3d.com/source/poser/blackeaglemap.zip). The lizard is from renderosity (http://www.renderosity.com /homepage.ez?Who=noggin&Form.sess_id=2255767&Form.sess_key=1067641169) with a texturemap created by myself. The small conifer is modeled with Tree Professional 4 (http://www.onyxtree.com/). The water uses media and the clouds are created with the 3D Clouds include of Sascha Ledinsky (http://3dgallery.dhs.org/tutorials). The image was rendered in two passes because of a more natural radiosity appearance without the clouds. Therefore the radiosity values were saved with the clouds turned off and then reused in a second pass with the clouds. As in my last 4 entries the resulting image was postprocessed within Povray for better antialiasing and for color adjustment (gamma decrease of the Blue color values). The jpg file shows some artifacts, therefore I included a png version in the zip. It does not contain the meshes because of their size and the imagemaps are scaled down for the same reason. The separate file for postprocessing is included.
