===== From helene.dumur@free.fr: A lot of very interesting details, the sail is wonderful, a very original picture... You know, Kshisen is very good too, when you wait for rendering ! ===== From exether@demo.xandmail.com: Cool idea. Nice realisation. I'd say you're not too much into sailing. :-) The sail seems really thick and the way it's attached, the poor guy will never get back home (upwind). The structures also seem very heavy. But I'm beeing picky, I like it oveall. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice concept. I liked parts of your image better than other parts. I think more attention to details of almost all structures would have helped. Repeated textures work but they need to be broken up somehow. ===== From pbrasolin@yahoo.it: Really nice! //----------------Paolo Brasolin ===== From caleb@netactive.co.za: Great modelling effort! I respect your modelling ability, and I think the scene was put together nicely. However, I think your extensive use of gaudy coloring hurt your picture a little. If you are looking for advice, I would suggest you play around in pov with the texture settings, specifically for "normal" and a lot of experimentation on "finish". I have been quite surprised at the kinds of effects one can get with seemingly subtle differences in some of the settings in "finish". If you're not looking for advice, just praise, then well done. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: The more I look at the details, the more things I like about this image. The run-down look of the station is superbly detailed, especially the signs and posters. Nice work with the isosurfaces on the hill and the sail. But a few things still bother me. Most notably, all the wind turbine towers seem too short, and the frame of the cart seems too beefy. I think the cart frame, particularly the front axle, should be more aerodynamic. You clearly put a ton of effort into this image, but some of the too-bright colors and clunky models make the final image more cartoonish than you wanted. ===== From t.degroot@inter.nl.net: Original interpretation and technically sound. A good use of isosurfaces although you could have tried something else for the hedges (objects, using trace to position them) ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The modelling is done well, but some textures (like the windmill) could use more work. What I find most lacking in this image is a sense of motion... the windmills and the wheels of the "land yacht" appear clearly, as if they were not moving. ===== From file: Nice idea, I like the postersand the effect of the paper.
