Interesting concept.  The lighting and textures need the most work.  Radiosity
would have helped here along with transitions between the rocky terrain and the
soil.

Very nice.  Good figure, textures, and isosurfaces.  You might want to increase
max_gradient to prevent some of those black holes, if that's what's causing
them.  Nice lighting and a very well balanced image.

I like image with depth of meaning, but I think it needs to need less
explanation that this one did.  I never would have gotten anywhere close to
guessing, but then again, I don't have any good suggestions for making it
clearer.

Nice image. Good lighting. Only two comments - the scale between the rocks and
the figure seems wrong to me ie. the figure looks too big, and the top of the
rock...err, is that heat haze?
