The colors came out nicely.  A few critiques though, the ground could use some
texture.  Also, the shadowed sides of the ruins and of the man do not quite
match up.  The man isn't in complete silhouette, but seems too dark compared to
the ruins.  The scene is composed well, though.  You can feel the lost man's
dispair.

Great image; simple but amazing.  The sand (isosurface?) is perfectly rippled,
especially in the distance under the sun.  The figure looks great in
silhouette, probably better than if he was lit... they always look a bit fake
no matter what it done.  So a very good choice with that.  Lastly, that
Tarragen sky is great.  Those clouds look real.  Great rendering, keep 'em
coming.

I can see what you were aiming at, but I think it didn't quite make it.  The
gound needs a different texture, I think, a little too reddish, and there is
some abrupt color gradient happening there, same with the sky.  And more to the
ruins would be good, too, I think, there seems to be elements missing to make
the story work.
