===== From skipt1@aol.com: The dunes look quite nice. Perhaps a little oddly shaped, too round maybe? The rock could benefit from a more complex texture, but that may conflict with your style. The radiosity bringing out the snake is a nice touch. Overall not bad. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: The stylistic look of this reminds me of art-deco style drawings. ===== From emkaah@yahoo.com: Like the dunes. Very surreal. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Rock & snake are very good. Dune texture seems too smooth. ===== From i-mcnamara@cornellcollege.edu: Good work, the stylization worked out quite well. Nice meshes for the sand (and rocks?) and that snake looks great in that soft radiosity glow. Good image. ===== From ericf@foothill.net: Very good ripple in the dunes, and the distant mountains have a good look too. The foreground rock and plants balance out the image nicely. I am not too fond of the snake, the texture doesn't feel quite right, although the shape is quite good. ===== From boork@zipcon.net: I like the texture on the dunes. Serpentine is actually a type (or several types) of metamorphic rock; it is usually a greasy green (or black) rock formed by metamorphosis of ocean crust. There's a decent photo here: ===== From file: Good light Notable for textures, lighting, modelling
