IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

        i actually started with a slightly different theme, a diamond in the
stream bed. then it hit me,  where dose a diamond come from, Coal, so i quickly
came up with a tipped over bucket of coal with one diamond out of place in the
mix.



DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

        i just found the competition with only a week and a half left. i quickly
racked my brain to see if i could come up with something. Initially i came up
with the idea of a stream bed with one diamond mixed in among the rocks. Then
this idea hit me, where do diamonds come from, Coal. i thought it was out of
place to have a diamond among the reminisce of a tipped over bucket of coal.

i started by seeing if i could convincingly create the bucket and coal. i had
already made the diamond for the first revision. after futzing around with
different shapes for the coal i remembered a "Rock" file i had downloaded 5-6
years ago and never had a use for (i included a DXF of it for others to use).
after I re-found that i played around with the materials. I_m not entirely
happy with the way the bench turned out but everything else i was thrilled
with. especially with only a week to do it.
