===== From dbn_3@yahoo.com: (1) I like the vertical aspect ratio -- it makes the volcano and ash seem that much taller and more imposing. (2) I like the counter and window, but the room looks very dark -- maybe radiosity bouncing the incoming sunlight around the room would help (or just some well-placed lights). (3) The outside light looks good on the ash column, but looks very severe (like a giant fluroescent light) on the houses. (4) All the work on the houses and fence looks great, but only points out the very flat ground -- add weeds or some normal disturbance that makes it look like grass. ===== From bertram.henze@t-online.de: Looks like a very quiet volcano - a little bit of flying debris around the summit would add more action. ===== From s.day@uel.ac.uk: Nice picture, I like the mosaic tiles. Could do with radiosity or higher quality radiosity settings. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Good scene overall. The houses are done well. A few additional touches that would be nice would be some spilled liquid coming from the cup, more detail on the mountain surface (it seems rather empty now) and a layer of less thick smoke around the ash. ===== From jyrehby@hotmail.com: Pros: Nice modelling, excellent texture for the tiles in the foreground, interesting point of view. Cons: So still, so static, so lifeless... Maybe just because the window is exactly centered in the frame and the volcano right in the middle of the window?
