The light on the mountain is too uniform and the mountain is too spikey.  Natural mountains have few sharp edges because of erosion.  I like that you put a glow where the strike hits the mountain, but the shape with the image_map behind the mountain doesn't extend down far enough. The resulting blue triangle in the lower right is very distracting.

The lightning bolt is clearly not raytraced, plus it seems washed out. Is it supposed to be land in the background? sea? No help from the mandatory text file...
