that really jumps out at me is how flat the lighting is. Everything looks very
flat and dull because of that lighting, and this really detracts from the work
you've put in.

I really like the opposite me, that surprised me and I didn't notice until
reading your description! That's a very clever idea :)

The concept works and clearly, you spent quite a bit of time modeling and
texturing.  However, the overall look of the scene is a bit busy.  Perhaps
think about your choice of colours and elments that provide unit to the look
and feel of the scene.
