Certainly a different take on speed.  You probably didn't need to focal blur or
the light to make him stand out but they are nice touches.  Nice to see a
little natural unevenness to the floor.  Maybe a bit too much?

I like the concept and the scene. Lighting is great.
The fast-growing-kid is very pretty, but I don't like the 
cloths of the other men (too close-fitting and therefore 
innatural: how can one close his jacket?)

This image creeps me out a lot, from the slightly amused look on the =
man/boy's face to the ill-fitting collars on all the models.  His =
awkward pose compared to the purposefully-striding men only enhances the =
image.  It makes an interesting statement on the human condition, but =
has nothing to do with speed.  Well executed in many ways, such as the =
uneven floor tiles.  Excellent color scheme and perfect lighting.
One of the most memorable and haunting images in this round of the =
competition.
