===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: I'm a big fan of photographs/film of this sort of thing. This image represents it pretty well, though if you changed that background to something more neutral, like grey, it would be much easier to see the bullet and debris. Also this image would benefit from a few photographic effects like vignetting and focal blur. ===== From zekaric@yahoo.ca: Not too bad on the modelling work. Bullet is easilly missed though, being so dark on a dark background. ===== From BigTrav2001@chartermi.net: I wish you would have explained why you would shoot a bullet through a lightbulb and a play card. I'm guessing there is some scientific reason, but to a non-scientist like me... I'm kind of in the dark. ===== From soccerplaya91@hotmail.com: cant really see the bullet...good idea maybe you could have made the light exploding a little more noticeable as well ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Charles, intriguing concept with fairly good technique, but the scene = doesn't work artistically at all. The one single element that needs to = be highlighted in this scene is THE BULLET, and it is almost invisible. = See how I was able to highlight it using text alone? :-) The instruments are completely unimportant to the scene, and should be = placed further from the camera, use less bright colors, etc. Also, = everything in the scene is placed as if it is on a grid, with each = element neatly aligning. Boring. How about moving the camera to the = right and turning it so that we can see flame emerging from the end of = the gun, with the bullet appearing larger as it speeds towards us? That = would be more visually interesting! ===== From file: Good good good good good good good. Cool idea. Notable for modelling, originality, lighting, composition
