Very impressive modelling & good interpretation of theme. I think the overall
composition of the image could be improved, it's not obvious that the wreck in
the background belonged to the hare and the tortoise is helping him (I didn't
realise until I read your text). For example you could show the hare thumbing a
lift from the tortoise. Still one of the best images in this round :)

(To take with a grain of salt, I'm no pro.)

Most images I've seen from Blender have never looked so good.  This one I'm
impressed with.  Nice job on the modelling effort.  It looks great.  The eyes
though are tough to pickout.  The tortoise looks almost alienish as I can
hardly see the pupils.  The ground could use a bit more definition/nature.

grainy, and make the image feel much more busy than it is.

This scene looks incredibly, absolutely, frozen.  Static.  no movement =
whatsoever.  I think the fastest moving thing shown here is the clouds =
in the background.  A little motion blur on the wheels, or smoke, or =
something blowing in the wind, would help immensely.
Good textures on the car.
I almost wish the scene wasn't so realistic.  It could better if =
everything was more like a cartoon.
