IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

The turtle is the subject of children's song "La tartaruga sprint", which tells
about a turtle fed up with his slowness and his attempt to be faster while
mounting motor (and wheels, maybe).


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

This is my first attempt in MegaPOV: "speed" sounds like "use motion blur".
The turtle is modeled in Wings 3D and exported with Kayos plugin.
Some texture arise from Moray materials (partially rearranged) and some from
news.povray.org. Some are mine.
Turtle's eyeballs come from Tim Nikias include file.
Grass is done with Makegrass.pov by Gilles Tran.
In addition to motion blur i've added some traditional blur in order to give a
better tense of depth.
Original render was 1280x1024, but filesize exceeded limits: to avoid a new
render I've resized the image with the Gimp.
Full sources and model are included in zip file (sorry, only partially commented
in english).
