I like the photographer's shadow. I'd suggest using higher contrast lighting and
less perfect models and textures to get a more photo-real feeling, at the
moment it all feels rather flat. Also maybe a bit off topic.

Funny idea to put the shadow of the photographer into the scene. i started to
criticiize the "snapshot look" of the image and was asking if this is wanted
until i recognized it ;-)

This is a nice looking image and the setting and attention to detail result in a
pleasing result.  I am not sure about the concept of fire and ice (not strong)
but the contrast between warmth and cold is there.

This is an excellent image, the steam could do with being a bit more obvious but
I guess that would have hurt the render time even more, also it looks like it
needs radiosity or better radiosity settings but again that would be slower to
render. The houses look good that macro could be useful for lots of images,
this is definately one of my favourites this round.
