The intention is good but not worked-out too well. From the image only, the concept of absence (of food) is not instantly clear. At least, I am missing a spoon, or a knife. As is, it could just be a still-life of a plate and candle. Remember that a concept should be instantly clear from the image, not from reading the title.
The wood texture is also rather crude. Scale it down, and try (by scaling along the length) to suggest planks.
Please, give also some more technical information (hardware, programs used, etc)

The textures in this are off. The wood doesn't look right, and the bowl is too perfect. The candlestick holder is too reflective. I like the shape of the candlestick holder and table, though. If the table were stone it might work better, but the wood grain is wrong.
