Interesting gadget. I think the political statement, though valid, took the
focus
away from the gadget a bit.

The modelling, particularly the man, was pretty good. The textures were simple,
but with effective detail in appropriate places (e.g. the loincloth, the trash
in the lake). The rotating cow texture in the machine scene was effective (and
funny, in a ghoulish way). I really liked the strange star-spitting dome
construction/morphing scene. The pond scene at the beginning was fairly well
done, but the fish looked more like segmented caterpillars to me, the scene
needed better contrast, and it didn't really advance the plot. The ripply
water was nice, but I think most movie editors would have left that part in the
cutting room. Mpeg artifacts caused some problems. Besides the purple patches
you mentioned, the flag had the crawlies and the fence had very severe
artifacting in all but the closeups. As to concept, you told a coherent if
polemical story, which is good, but the weird cow-eating machine seemed to be
tacked on to make the story on-topic which detracts. As far as the story
itself, as a vegan and environmentalist I hate the fast food blight for many
good reasons myself. But for all their sins, the virulent violent racism you
imply is really an unjustified charge. Your diatribe would have been more
effective if it were more accurate. Also, the casual use of the "nazi"
accusation is a bad idea. With all too many ethnic cleansers and the ilk who
deserve the label, to desensitize it by applying it to anyone you dislike helps
the real thing get away with their atrocities.

Whew. Heavy theme. At first I was afraid it was prejudcial against minorities,
maybe it's the other way after viewing it.

I can't believe y'all would put up something that is racially motivated. This
is very distasteful. Piece of trash
