ANIMATION DESCRIPTION:
My first entry into this contest.
British military watches under the light of a full moon as a
  restored Stonehenge... comes to life.
I realize that Stonehenge actually doesn't look exactly like this,
but if I'd made it exactly as it is(or was) then I wouldn't be able
  to use my idea.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED:
I really don't have any techniques of my own... all models are
csg. The stones were mostly made with prisms, and the four... things
on the sides are lathes. The glow effect was done with emission. I
divided it into 5 parts, and rendered each seperately. Then I
created an avi, 225 megs *eek*, converted it to mpeg, and breathed a
sigh of relief when it was barely under 5 megs.
Going back through the source files, I got completely lost and
couldn't figure out what I'd done, because it was so messy and
unorganized, so I decided not to include them.
