===== From brendanlemke@canada.com: I really like the artistic black and white high contrast. It rated very well with me. The bird motion was very well done. The animation also fit the theme very well. Great job! ===== From tim_cutho@smileyface.com: It's a very abstract piece, and the textures arte just so wierd because they seem to sort of change between black and transparent, grey speckes and then even chrome in some parts. I don't know how you did that, but it adds a very abstract feeling to it. The bird flight animation is nice and fluid, and very realistic. I you don't often see too much abstract like this in cg, but I like this one a lot :-) ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: I love the 'old movie' look of the title credits. The over all 'look' of this animation is very appealing and beautiful, a real artist feel. Bravo! Wonderful camera work and bird movement... you should consider trying to incorporate more of a story in your work, give it some character. ===== From ian.print@ntlworld.com: I really liked this one. My favourite. Excellent on the art work - the black and white, the stripey texture, the bird movement, and the camera movement. It had a really good feel to it. Nice idea at the start as well, in the grass. The only bit I didn't like so much was the shot of the bird flying into the camera - it didn't quite fit so well, IMHO. ===== From thomas_4d@hotmail.com: maya does this kind of thing very well and this wouldn't take that long with the tools you had "maya" that's nice movment and style but ===== From lou_bruce@yahoo.com: Incredible animation. The change to slow motion, the landing on the telephone pole, the rustling of feathers after landing; all were awe inspiring. The black and white was very artsy and bold. The texture worked very well to bring out the shape of the object. Very well done. ===== From english@spiritone.com: Stunning work. The choice of black on white was a good one. I would expect to see a longer version of this in the animation festivals or on a show like Exposure.
