===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Good concept. The bouncing balls and correct arm movemet must earn you some extra points for techical merit. Textures (and models) could be a bit more interesting though. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: There is a noticeable glitch in the animation where everything goes rather jaggedly near the end, at least, when I played it. I tried it twice, and it had the same result each time. The animation with the music works rather well, and I liked the bouncing balls on the music. However, it is a bit difficult to allow judgement based on the sound. Also, not much else happens in the animation, though the description hints at a great level of detail (with the balls and the harps and the fingering) the jaggedness in the animation makes it difficult to see this all the time. ===== From evilsnack@hotmail.com: I could not grasp the relationship between the animation and the topic. ===== From steven.place@lucidapple.com: I enjoyed watching this animation. I think you did a good job of putting the music in and having the 'robots' play along. I would comment on a couple of things though. First is your general camera angles. It seemed as though the camera was very hard to turn. There were little to no fluid movements. Once the camera was up on stage, it seemed to be missing alot of the main action parts, and more off screen items got on the film. If there was a way you could have the strings really move enough to notice, that would have been a bonus. Otherwise I thought it was creative. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Reminds me *a lot* of AnimMusic. Have you seen this amazing DVD? I like the way the animation is captured with one single camera movement, but some of the motions are too abrupt. The harp movements and coordination with the music are superb! Yes it is fast music, but "speed" is not the first thing that comes to mind when I watch this animation. Some of the colors are washed-out, flat looking. I like the revolving sculptures. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Interesting, carrying the "speed" idea through the sound instead of the visuals. The robots didn't seem particularly hurried. Colors were a bit dull. Hotter colors and more variety in the appearance of the bouncing lights might have helped carry the idea visually. How could those harps stay in tune without supports on the bass end? ===== From suso@suso.org: The speed connection is a bit weak. Musical speed (tempo) would have been a good interpretation, but your animation doesn't emphasize that enough. ===== From r@dup-200-64-229-245.prodigy.net.mx: Notable for composition
