Wow! A nice animation, especially considering the short production time.

Wow! A nice animation, especially considering the short production time. Funny
scenes, with that "cartoony" animation style to it. The ending is a little odd,
and i'm not sure if CTRL-ALT-DEL do look more like policemen or a street gang?

This was definitely the best entry, concept-wise. Higher-resolution bitmaps for
the keytops would have been the icing on the cake, from the technical
viewpoint.

Really liked this one. Your animated sequences are great... you seem to have a
good grasp on timing. The effort to "pop" out of the key-slot in the keyboard
and the run-cycle were excellent. The sound track really added a lot too.
High marks for artistic and concept...

Great little video, but it wouldn't play in gtv. I especially liked the
movements of the characters. Very original as well.

From irtc_mail@yahoo.co.uk:

I don't like the fast movement of the title text, or the super-fast
flying camera onto the keyboard. This is so fast it is practically
cutting between shots so why not just cut from desk to keyboard to
escape key.

I can't work out what is going on with the walls in the shot from the
ceiling. The keyboard looks enormous, and the mouse is missing.

The text on keys looks terrible. I'm guessing this is one image mapped
over the whole keyboard. This needs separate image maps for the close
up keys.

I like the detail of the escape key banging his hand on the F1 key and
the snappy feel of the movement as he jumps around. I am not sure about
the knuckles-on-ground gorilla-type pose though, this would seem more
appropriate for the heavies who turn up at end.

The running-with-one-hand-on-head looks strange, and the way the view
of the keyboard suddenly becomes incredibly blurred drew my attention
away from the character. I don't think that the hands up gesture as he
stops running is a natural thing to do. It feels more like the palms
forward gesture which is a signal that you want someone coming towards
you to stop. The string quartet that suddenly starts playing when he
stops seems out of place with the rest of the music.

That dodgy text problem appears on the control, alt and delete keys as
well. This realy needs sharpening up. The appearance of these three
seems to lag behind the sound here. Perhaps the three camera jumps
need to be moved slightly ahead of the sounds. It's also not clear
where the ctrl-alt-delete keys came from. They were still in the
keyboard when the escape key ran away.

As we cut away from the ctrl-alt-del keys our hero's plan has been
thwarted and he doesn't know what to do, but the action music kicks in
again.

I am not sure what body part the raised lip at the front of the escape
key is suposed to be, perhaps it might be better to leave this out.

You had the idea for the story after three months thinking but there
is just one problem with it: the topic is escape, but he gets caught.

Don't take these comments the wrong way, these are just suggestions,
not a list of things I hate about it. Overall, I like the snappy feel
of this animation. Amazing for 8 days work.
