DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: The dog was inspired by a rendering I found on the web. (My apologies I don't remember where). I had no idea what to do for the topic. Then I remembered this wonderful music video by Cemre Ozkurt that I saw at http://www.3dluvr.com/cemre/animation.htm# entitled "Mustafa Jackson". I rigged the dog with inverse kinematics for both the front and rear legs. Big mistake, the front legs should have been forward kinematics. Towards the end, the front legs just got out of control. I intended to go back and fix some of the glitches but I ran out of time. I set up my work space with a model view on one side and a sequencer view on the other side and loaded the Ozkurt video into the sequencer. Then I just advanced a frame at a time and adjusted the camera, Lights and skeleton to resemble the video. It was tough enough making a quadraped act like a biped without the added problem of inverse kinematic arms that couldn't mimic the poses without flipping into some pretty strange positions. Anyway I tweaked poses for two days after the initial rendering and finally had to be satisfied with what you see here.
