April '95 Competition comp.graphics.raytracing Topic: Food Title: Breakfast Filename: jmbkfast.jpg Resolution: 640 X 480 Using: Povray 2.2, PoVSB .99b, WinBlobs Author: Jason L. McKnight Breakfast in a nice beachfront house in some tropical location. This scene was almost entirely designed in PoVSB. I used the lathe in PoVSB to create the bowl, the plate, and the chairs. I created the cheerios in the bowl with WinBlobs and imported them into PoVSB. The scenery outside the window was generated with Vistapro, and I created the textures on the cheerios, the bowl & plate, and the wall with a painting program. It's probably fairly obvious how everything else was created. The scene took 45 megs of memory and about 6-7 hours to render on a dx2-66.
