The plane and St Paul's are nicely modelled, but the "squareness" of the bird
lets the image down, IMO.  Leaving out the bird altogether would improve the
scene  djs .
I've marked down on the technical merit due to use of old models you had lying
around, which is discouraged (banned?) by the rules.

Love the dome. Like the plane. Could have done without the birds. :-) Good
detail and fair texturing.

Nice picture but you said that you used the dome of St. Pauls from another
project you were doing. All the objects in your scene were supposed to be
created specifically for this competition. It is a beautiful picture though.
(The seagulls need some work too.)

Extremely well done - only thing I found a bit distracting was the beak on the
closest seagull,
something about it is a bit odd.  Decided to not count this, and gave you a
triple-twenty anyway.

The plane & dome are photorealistic -- the birds aren't.  That dropped the
Artistic Merit of the picture slightly.  Overall, however, a very good picture
with just the right amount of detail.

The birds helped this rendering of an aircraft be unique. Wonderful touch. And

The lighting scheme escapes my understanding. The undercarriage
of the plane near the tail seems well lit and yet it is the top of the
foreground
bird's head that is lit. maybe I'm too tired and have looked at too many
entries.

The dome of St.paul's is very impressive and raises the overall appeal. The
plane aswell is nicely done, but overall lacks flare.

Is London weather always like that? Beautiful triplane but the near bird ruins
what would otherwise have been a perfect composition. The lack of detail in the
freightened avian in contrast to the other elements (excellent cathedral)
spoilt it for me. Either keep the birds away from the camera or defocus them.
A detailed close-up bird would have distracted from the Arvo being the
central object of the image.

Artistically I liked the avro plane but the sea gull close to the camera lacked
enough detail to carry it off something else different  or another building top
might have worked better overall good quality

Good concept--nice juxtaposition of the natural and the artificial.  The plane
and the dome are extraordinarily good.  The birds are a bit stiff and boxy,
but nicely posed.
