JPGFILE: jjairpla.jpg ZIPFILE: jjairpla.zip RENDERER USED: POV-Ray 2.2 (OS/2) TOOLS USED: Moray 2.2 (DOS) RENDER TIME: 14 hours 0 minutes 58.00 seconds HARDWARE USED: Intel 486DX4/100, 16 megabytes RAM IMAGE DESCRIPTION: I have to honestly say that I had no idea I was going to end up with the scene that I created and that it just happened completely by accident. I am new at POV-Ray graphics and I was extremely impressed by the resulting image and how real it looked. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The central object of this scene, the "metalic paper airplane", is an original of my (accidental) design; it is not copied from another scene. The paper airplane was designed using a Taper Sweep with the Cubic setting in Moray's 'Extended Edit'. Originally the airplane looked more like a clamshell and was upside down and so I decided it'd look much better the other way.
