TITLE: inner-spheres NAME: Andrew Whyte COUNTRY: Australia EMAIL: whytea@topaz.cqu.edu.au TOPIC: Glass COPYRIGHT: I SUBMIT TO THE STANDARD RAYTRACING COMPETITION COPYRIGHT. JPGFILE: inssph.jpg RENDERER USED: Povray 3.0 (Linux) TOOLS USED: PovSB (Win95) RENDER TIME: 16h 33m 51s HARDWARE USED: Pentium-150, 32m Ram IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Well they're balls and there glass :) DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I started by creating a single sphere in PovSB, and copied them to produce the 'axis' shaped cross. Then merged them, and made little ones which got placed, scaled down, into the center of each of the main spheres. Then added a point and an area light, a wood plane, and went and had a few coffees, and watched some movies... Its amazing what Anti-alising does, without it this image takes just 2hr's to trace.
